Dry and cloudy again here. O'night low was 13 degrees [14 just now at approx. 8.25 am] and the forecast has changed from yesterday and it's supposed to be dry and cloudy, rather than showers/rain later. Predicted high is 21 in late aftn. or eve. depending on which forecast is more accurate!

We missed the rain yesterday - it went either side of us. Just some morning smirr. The high was 20 though, with very little breeze. Very humid.

It's already 22C here and much too hot in the sun for gardening. I started my gardening at 4.30 this morning. Next doors cat looked at me as though I was mad.

What a difference, back to normal after overnight showers, 12 degrees forecast is more showers and high of 16 degrees a more typical day then, was that summer?

Going up to 27C today, then it will revert to normal tomorrow. The sun is a little bit hazy. Too hot to mow the lawn.

When it gets really hot and dry the birds start to pant. They sit on the roof with their beaks open.

When we had a cat we used to spray her with a mister. She loved it.

31C outside now and a bit muggy so not comfy. However, indoors with the shutters rolled down ion ventilate setting it's pleasant and there's a slight breeze occasionally.

Set to stay like this so gardening will be done early and late, including playing hunt the chicken. One of ours went AWOL yesterday - no squawking or feathers so I think she's just headed for greener pastures.

Thunder, lightning and rain expected on Saturday so I hope she's found some acceptable shelter if we can't get her back home.

Calm with cloud cover until now, the sun has just shown itself for all of five minutes and disappeared again. 17C/63F

Its very hazy here now, the sky is not the dark blue of yesterday, kind of suggests things are changing.
29c. the earlier breeze has dropped.
                            I'm not complaining.
