Seems a bit windy.

 

Well what a strange day yesterday up above it looked like we were in for thunderstorms all day. Did manage to tame a Spring flowering Clematis . Now around 12c later up to 17c and not so breezy.

 

A damp, windy start here, although the wind's dropped a bit. O'night low was 10 degrees [11 just now at approx/ 7.45 am] with a predicted high of around 14. That'll mainly be later in the afternoon/early eve. when it dries a bit and lets some sun through. The rain's to continue on and off through the morning, and showery in the early aftn.

Yesterday was fine until mid morning when the cloud came back in, but the rain didn't start until about mid day. A few breaks now and again, but wetter from afternoon onwards. Gale force gusts, and it continued through the night. The high was 16 degrees. Plenty of indoor jobs for me during the rain, once I had a walk and got the car loaded for the dump later today, so my timing was quite good!

We welcomed a short sharp shower at 7am for five minutes. Currently it is hazy sun and 20c going to 24/25c We may have another shower later.

Today we have a mix of cloud and sun, with a gentle breeze and a pleasant temperature of 19C. Just my luck, my hip joint is giving me grief so probably not much gardening.

 

Sunny start, cloudy midday, and sunny periods now, felt a bit chilly around midday with the wind picking up.
Max was probably around 21c.

 

A mixture of cloud, breeze and sun today. Bit on the cool side but the sun is strong when out so the sun cream went on for gardening this afternoon.

It's grim! Windy with light rain all day and the temperature's back down to 11C/52F.

 

Had another welcome shower this afternoon, total 3mm all day, 24.7c high. 23c now, overcast with cool breeze.

Quite breezy and 17 degrees today, we went over to Aboyne in Aberdeenshire for lunch on our Wedding Anniversary day, a lovely drive over the mountains.
