What's your weather like MARCH 2024

Managed to nip out after breakfast and sweep up the back garden paving - just before it started snowing. It's the slushy type of snow - so doesn't stick. Ended up sheltering in the potting shed with my new book - funnily enough it is snowing in the book as well.

Forecast mostly right again today! We did have rain from 8ish this morning till early afternoon. Well heavy showers would be a better description! I got caught out in a couple as well when I was on my way downtown. Once in town & in & out of shops I didn't get wet any longer.

The wind was quite strong & nippy to begin the day but, as forecast, they eased off as the day went on. When I left town to return home it was beginning to get warm & my heavy coat made me feel very warm.

We are forecast a possible light frost overnight. Temps are expected to fall to 2C min. Our max today has only been about 6C at most. It won't be any warmer tomorrow either! No rain for tomorrow!

A cold and frosty beginning to the first Sunday of March here! We have 0C at 6.30am & a light covering of frost. The clouds seem thin but we are forecast a day of sunshine and clouds. No rain in the forecast & a bit of wind with a max today of 6

 

Frosty start and the mist has cleared, clear sky and light winds from the south south west temp 0c feels like 0c, at the moment the ground isn't frozen.

Bright light cloud cover with the sun working hard to get through, calm, 10c going to 18c. A sunny day with scattered cloud forecast. Ah, the sun has won!

 

It's gone misty again but the sun is trying to break through.

After some overnight rain we have a chilly 6 degrees and the thin sun peeping through the clouds, grass needs cutting, but it's too wet just now, so I may continue light pruning of dead stuff and after weeding one of the raised beds getting ready for planting, I might do another.
