Still lightly overcast, sun has gone for now, light breeze, 13,8c.

 

4c sunny with a few white cloudy, frost gone and boy we had a lot of stream off most things this morning

Sunny intervals and light winds from the south west temp 7c feels like 6c

 

The sun is struggling to get through the layer of high clouds and I'd say it is just bright really, I'm sure the sky will clear just before it gets dark, just in time to make an overnight frost likely.

Not very spring-like here today either! No rain & low winds but little sunshine & lots of cloud cover.

I feel the image above encapsulates the weather of March perfectly which is the reason for setting it as the background on my computer screen for this month. This is the first time I've ever done this & I wasn't sure it would work - but it does &, except for a bit of a border, it covers my screen very well!

It sort of sums up the fight between the end of winter & the beginning of spring with winter trying to hang on while spring is trying to banish winter!

Might be an Aurora tonight, doubt we will see it, very thick cloud here just now.

Sunny and calm but feeling chilly with humidity in the mid 60's, even though the temperature is up today. It's rarely this low and makes a big difference to any warmth from the sun. 9C/48F

Good morning everyone

Again this morning we have a frosty start to the day & new working week. Although we start off on a cold note the day will warm up later & we'll reach a max around 11C. In fact 10 - 11C will be our max all week! No more freezing nights are forecast for this coming week We may see a little rain during the day but if we do get some it will be light.
