What's your weather like MARCH 2024

Woke with the garden room covered with sleet then rain and again rain. Had a few hours of no rain and some sun and now....heavy heavy rain.

 

Oh No looks like we might have a touch of the white cold stuff when we arrive back at our place in South Wales after our visit to our daughters in Australia on Monday ! Jumpers at the ready then .

 

Middle of the night and I can't sleep (nothing unusual in that ...) so I went to make myself a cup of tea and saw that the place is white with snow !
That's the first snow I've seen for several years and I don't want to see it again for many more years, it's horrible
I hope it's gone by the morning because I've got an appointment with an osteopath at noon in a town 18 miles away.

Bella wasn't impressed by it either ....

Snow up on Dartmoor this morning.

 

At the moment it's sunny with a moderate breeze from the south temp 5c feels like 1c.

Weather very similar to Logan, clear blue skies and sunshine. The air was quite still at 6.30am, but I've noticed that the trees are starting to move slightly.

Morning everyone, pleased to see the sun shining through the watery haze. Had quite a bit of rain in the night, the water butt is over flowing again. I did quite a bit of watering yesterday, it's surprising how much the wind we've had dried up containers and beds. Young seedlings suffer a bit if their short roots dry out.

Forecast says rain again this afternoon with a sunny spell. Typical March/April weather I'd say.

Overcast with light rain, 12c going to 18/19c with periods of rain later and through the weekend but much needed and appreciated.

 

The weather is so depressing here that, despite it only being 8.30 am, I have already consumed my chocolate allowance for the day!

Yesterday was so grim I entertained myself dyeing some socks! Normally March is a good gardening month down here! Itching to get on with stuff out there.

 

It was grey and damp in Norfolk earlier. Now it’s 7C and brightening … although they say we can expect rain after lunch.
