What's your weather like MARCH 2024

9c windy and sunny with heavy downpours, so far i'm still painting the outside of the house with out stopping for rain

 

Sunny first thing, but started raining at about 8.30 and it’s windy.
Haverfordwest High Street was a raging torrent just now, and my windscreen wipers struggled with torrential sleet, hail and rain on the way home. Only for the sun to appear and I had to dash to take some new plants out of the greenhouse (supposed to be hardening off, but don’t want them to drown). Min temp in there overnight was 1.3c, that’s cold for us in the spring. One year, circa 2014, it didn’t get below 5c in the greenhouse all winter.

 

Wow, people from Bonfire are definitely made of tough stuff

 

After a relatively dry morning, here we go again

 

At the moment it's sunny with patchy cloud and a moderate breeze from the south south west temp 11c feels like 9c.

 

Sunny at the moment, but everything's still wet from a shower earlier. Gardening day might be tomorrow.

 

Sunny. No, rain. Sunny. No, rain.
I think you get the picture.

The forecast here for tomorrow and Sunday looks pretty good. I have everything tightly crossed, which is a tad uncomfortable.

A brief shower, but now ...


hopefully the rain is only for the 20 minutes they reckon...

 

Well it was mostly cloudy all morning but fairly sunny now and the wind has dropped a bit, almost string like if the wind drop a bit more. 13c.

Just a bit too cool for sitting out with a cold beer.

 

After some early rain the sun has been out and a nice walk for a couple of miles was taken, barely any breeze and 11 degrees, with little cloud we may well get another frost tonight.

 

They were correct, apart from no mention of thunder (just a couple of rumbles). Have a lovely double rainbow at the moment.

 

The only good thing about our weather today is that I captured a rainbow on my mobile phone!

 

It’s been a mixture of sunshine and showers here with a breeze to go with them. It stayed dry for my walk to and from the hairdresser this morning thank goodness.
