What's your weather like MARCH 2024

Thank you @Blue arbour. There was a second, fainter one just above it but I didn’t manage to capture that.

 

As expected, turned showery and stayed grey and dull. I've been down to clean the chooks' shed and refresh their food supply then sowed some PSB, Chinese foxgloves, white California poppies and a few other bits in the PT.

i've just seen a post on a local FB group reminding us to set our clocks forward with this message
"One hour less rain this weekend".

 

Thanks to the temporary conservatory, I've been pottering amongst my citrus trees and tender climbers, studiously ignoring the foul weather and dreaming of heatwaves and drought Won't be long now.....

Raining, for at least the next hour. Currently 10c going to 16c with the possibility of more showers later. Ben, my Gardener coming this afternoon ... maybe, to cut back the Myoporo and power wash the patios.

Beautiful clear blue sky and temperature will rise to 13c. No rain expected today. We shall see!!

 

Good morning all sun and cloud with a high of 13c no rain forecasts.

 

11C and sunny in parts but mostly cloudy spells all day.

Night time temps are getting better so should be able to clear the rest of the plants out of the polytunnel to make room for spreading compost and manure for this year's toms and chillies. I do grow some toms outside but prefer to keep the specials out of chook range in the PT.

Loads of rain again in the night so no working on the soil outside. The weeds are having a field day.

 

It was sunny but now it's sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the south south west temp 11c feels like 9c.

It is 27f -3c and sunny with a light breeze. The guessers say we're going up to 46f 7c which would be lovely!
