    Some lengthy sunny spells today but also some cloud. Though it wasn't forecast we did have a few very light showers, hardly enough to dampen the ground! Wind very light & max temps in the order of 15-16C.

    Looks like we are in for a warm weekend & possibly the week ahead as well, if the forecasts are right! :)

            We're forecast sun for at least all of the next fortnight.

            I've already got sunburnt in the last two days and our rain barrels are virtually dry. We were hoping for some rain to water a lot of the replacement plants we have put in after the freeze that killed off so many. I'm now having to dig out the sprinkler to help them settle in properly. We have had to delay the sweetpea planting in their new area (I've put up a maypole system for them) until I can thoroughly soak the ground.

                Yes all our 6 water butts are empty too and we have no more rain forecast for the next two weeks ( so they say :fingers crossed:) either.
