Yesterday evening the forecast was for a dry day with the odd dribble then some proper rain from 5pm. Instead we've had a wet night - kept me awake - and drizzle all day with occasional bursts of heavier stuff. 15C but with a breeze that make sit feel a lot cooler.

I've let the chooks hide in the polytunnel again after finding them huddling and sodden at the entrance cos OH has put the mesh across to keep them off my seedlings. I've given them some hen feed as well as their sweetcorn.

OH has taken his new golf bag out to play..........

Had a dry morning but rain started about 1pm. Should ease off late afternoon when I'll go out and take advantage of the soft ground to pull out some more docks. I was getting some monster roots out this morning!

Pleasant enough after some light rain overnight, grass was wet, but I cut some of it, some left with wild flowers in it for the Bees. 15 degrees, little wind so time for a walk round the fields.

Grey and cloudy but managed to get in the garden this morning. The sun popped out for a short time. Skies darkened and then this afternoon back with rain but hardly any wind.

No rain yesterday or today. It's warm today (20C), still, with light cloud and occasional glimmers of sunshine.

Its clouded over here now but it was sunny and reached 20c earlier.
Tomorrow looks like back to winter.

Got to 23,3v, now 22,2c and the clouds cleared an sun came out ... but sadly no rain ... so the irrigation goes on tonight as the Brugmansias in pots are not happy.

Good morning. Fog outside, 8c currently and will be 15c over the day with a mix of rain and sunshine so the BBC, but the radar doesn't show rain for the area where we live.

A look ahead, my tip: enjoy the warmer weather at the end of this week and wear the shorts as long as it lasts (two days in fact), because the temperatures will go down next week back to average.
The first prognosis forecast an average month with a bit more rain than average and that will stay like this until the first week of June, which is the week we are in Cornwall

Why is this important to me? I have to make a decision if I grow 1 tomato plant in the greenhouse and fill a big planter for that, or I plant the two plants that I have outside and risk that I get nothing.

Yesterday was another hot sunny day after a cool start.

Apart from the situation that I tend to agree with @CanadianLori that they should be called 'Weather Guessers' instead of forecasters our weather map is showing it is raining here whereas the view from my window is early morning sunshine.

From the look of the clouds on the horizon and the smell of the air I do think we shall have some rain.

I can fairly confidently predict that summer will start tomorrow. :heehee:
