Apart from that, weather is always a kind of “it could be” if it’s longer than 5 days. Fact is that since the end of the drought in 2022, we have a weather against the predictions that it will be warmer and drier.

We are in that dry section of north Kent. Not for long though.

 

Wet here, although it's supposed to be a bit better later. O'night was 11 degrees [very warm again] and predicted high is around 13 or 14. Very still too, not even a breeze.

Yesterday was cloudy and dank all day, and the high was 13. A little bit of breeze at times, and wet later on at night.

That just about sums it up here, too. The fields round about are 2cm deep in water and that's on slopes! After torrential showers, hail and thunderstorms yesterday, it's 'just' showers today. 19C / 10C.

Sunny, warm and sticky here. GH is 15c and it's in the shade at the moment. Heading out for another day of gardening!

 

It's UK bank holiday weather here - cold wind, heavy showers including hailstones and just all round unpleasant and set to stay that way till mid afternoon tomorrow when the sun is due to shine.

Not a public holiday here in France - they do May Day on the 1st, whatever day of the week it falls. Wednesday - VE Day - and Thursday - Ascension - are public holidays here so almost everyone will add the Friday and have a very short week. The sun is due to appear just in time then.

 

Patches of blue sky this morning but the traditional BH rain is coming later.

Think it’s too late to risk another load of washing (so I’m hoping to be rewarded with another few dry hours, by not pushing my luck).
