Whats your weather like May 2024

Cloudy but dry here. O'night low of 11, so very very mild. 12 just now [app. 8.15] and supposed to be reasonably dry all day with a predicted high of 13 or so. Depends on the forecast you look at though - one has rain over the next couple of hours, but the radar isn't really making that look likely.

Yesterday stayed dry after the rain eased, and we even had some sun in the afternoon. Very calm, but a lot of dark clouds appeared and I had a headache, so we thought we'd get some thunder, which was forecast, but it missed us. The high was 17, so really hot for the time of year.

Breezy, warm and sunny! The last few days have been really enjoyable, at last!

Still overcast, but at least the fog has gone 10 degrees and dry at the moment

 

Cloudy but dry here, and a bit cooler than the last few days. Yesterday felt very muggy but it didn't rain. In fact there's none in the forecast for the next week or so . Actually some of the forecasts show rain in the "headline" but the probabilities only go up to about 30%, and in my experience that means not going to happen so there's no point in expecting it - that way lies disappointment. Anyone with surplus rain between now and October, send it this way!

 

We really can't complain, it looks like it is going to be dry all day and there is lots to do in the garden. The downside is that more watering is likely, note to self to get water timers and hose attachments out. Temperature is nothing to write home about, but enough when working in the garden and/or walking. Enjoy the day folks!

Hazy sunshine with light clouds, light winds from the north north east temp 17c feels like 18c
Strange it was a clear sky at pershore.

 

It is sunny and up to 51f 8c and the guessers say it will be going up to 20c , 70's f which is wonderful. They tell us tomorrow will be pretty much the same and then Thursday and Friday it will be pouring and then back to cool but sunny days. I'm happy about that as it means the young working people will get a dry weekend.

 

Cold and we to start with and then it cleared up ahead of schedule and we even had some sun. Now, when it's supposed to be bright sunshine and 16C it's gone very dark with lowering couds looking heavy with rain.

No matter. I'm on sick dog sitting duties today and have now been toteh vet with him but still have to go down to the veg plot to collect the eggs and clean up the hen shed. Anyone care to bet on it starting to pour?

 

Brilliants sunshine for most of the day and some clouds have formed now but nothing too threatening, I hope.
