I've just noticed that I'd hit the 2 instead of the 1 in my earlier post - it wasn't 25 at 7am - but 15! Now edited.
I don't think my house was ever at 19 degrees through winter @Goldenlily26 - that would be too hot for us now
I've been sleeping with the bedroom window open for the last few nights. Too hot otherwise.
I went for my walk just before 8am @pete.

At 9:30 this morning I had to change my plans and work in a shadier part of the garden - it was just too hot. Still sunny and hot now. I've decided to sow lots of seed this weekend since the soil will be nice and warm, and there is rain forecast for the week ahead.

@pete Berry doesn't like it when it gets hot. This morning when we went for a walk altogether, it wasn't very hot but as we came back down the road to our house it started to get sunny but not very hot, berry just stopped and the only way to get him moving was to throw a little treat in front of him, he started to move after a while and we got home.

The thunder symbol has disappeared from the forecast, so not sure what to expect now. I quite like a warm spell to go out with a bang rather than a whimper. It’s bound to rain though as I’ve just sneaked another wash on!

25c outside, 23.8c inside. I can’t wait for tomorrow when it gets back to 19c.

Well that was ridiculous! Such a huge volume of rain and then hail like marbles. I’m surprised car alarms weren’t going off. It seems to have passed over now…

Its 27c here now and the clouds that were forming earlier have gone.

Radar shows some fairly big storms down over Northern France.

Around 4pm the sun disappeared and the clouds got blacker and blacker. I moved bits and pieces into the greenhouse to protect them from the torrential downpour that was surely due any minute.
Had to turn the lights on in the kitchen as it was getting very dark. The thunder rumbled around the house.
It started to rain....for all of a minute.

Now the sun is shining again.
                              I feel very underwhelmed.

After yesterdays sun and heat it's almost back to normal. The promised rain and thunderstorm didn't materialise this afternoon but it's been cloudy and breezy all day. 18C/64F
