Whats your weather like May 2024

Cornwall.
It poured all morning, got soaked taking the car to the garage for some new tyres. It has stopped raining now, there was a heavy mist for a couple of hours but that has cleared and it feels muggy, grey and overcast.

 

It is 24,5c and breezy.

 

Rain , Rain , Rain ! all day by the look . But did pop in the greenhouse and potted on some ‘Sunflower Sunspot’ seedlings , a bit ironic with weather like this.

It's just starting to rain, light rain and a gentle breeze from the south south east temp 19c feels like 20c

 

It's been a pleasant day with warm sunshine, but quite windy. Now it's just started to rain and will continue for 24 hours. In anticipation, I mowed the lawn again so that I can do indoor jobs for a few days.

 

Mostly cloudy until early afternoon since then its been sunny spells but the wind has got up.

21c for a while pm.

 

Managed to do some work in the garden until 10.30am. Came indoors and then went to go back...drizzle. Then the rain set in and it is still raining with some strong wind gusts. The garden though does need the rain but I wished it had let me finish what I was doing!

 

It's still raining and it's getting heavier but we need the rain, the ground is dry.

 

Rain overnight and with the humidity high it was a misty start this morning. Sunny with a light breeze all day and a few spots of rain this evening. 20C/68F

 

It's far less rain than I hoped for and it came at 8 in the evening.
It's time to look at the average figures we should have in May:
16.4°C over the day, 7.5°C over night, 57mm rain and 211 hours sunshine.

The weather as it currently is will stay (at least) in the next 2 weeks and eventually go further into June with temperatures between 18°C and 20°C over the day and 10°C and 12°C over night with a mix of clouds, eventually a bit rain in between and some sunshine.
