Whats your weather like May 2024

Good morning all ,a lot cooler 15c ,sun and cloud now but rain expected this morning for a few hours.

 

Wet start today, but still very muggy. O'night low of 14 degrees, and it's still that just now [almost 8 am] with a predicted high of 16, so much more comfortable. A bit of a breeze too.

Yesterday was very humid, and a mix of cloud and a little bit of sun with the rain starting at 5pm. The high was 21 degrees. Plenty of outdoor jobs got done, so it was ideal.

Cloudy here and the forecast has changed to rain this morning and dry this afternoon.

 

Cloudy and damp but maybe a bit of brightness later on

 

We've had a spell of decently heavy rain this morning. Squinting at the gauge through the window it looks like about 7 or 8mm (I'll check properly later). It's eased off now but there's a possibility of more in the forecast for this afternoon and tomorrow morning. After that the rainfall probabilities for the rest of the week are in "I'll believe it when I see it" territory.

 

Wet here with intermittent heavy showers and rain that comes in waves as if someone's chucking buckets of it at us. Set to continue a few more days...... I'd better get my wellies on and go and make sure OH opened the polytunnel so the chooks can stay dry when he let them out - very early before disappearing to an inter club golf competition at Coëx.

 

Okay we might not get out today until a bit later, but it's good weather for the garden and there is little watering to be done. Both water barrels are full!

 

Rain overnight with a misty start again this morning. Cloudy but bright since and barely a twitch in the trees. 18C/64F

 

Rain was slow to move away, but its just fairly cloudy now, disappointing 16c
7mm of rain mostly overnight.

 

A rather dull sort of day, bit of light rain, light winds and 13 degrees, did a bit of potting on in the greenhouse.

Often does this these days.
Says 20c but the breeze is chilly,

We managed 21c, now 20c and sunny but that gusty breeze has not left and it feels like Winter
