sunny so far, as forecast. Expected to get to a giddy 20C this pm but maybe an odd shower early afternoon Good job our neighbours have a good sized, covered seating area for the Fête des Voisins.

 

It's been threatening to rain all morning but only just started now, very considerate since it's time to go in for lunch anyway. Had to round up all the things that shouldn't be left out and bring them in. Temperature is absolutely perfect, neither hot nor cold; I would happily live at this temperature all year but I guess my tomatoes wouldn't ripen!

Far too hot again for me today -was meant to be going to a hill, as I knew it was to be hot again, but didn't feel well when I got up. O'night low was 11 degrees. The high is predicted to be around 22 - I think it's already that, which is why I'm not out doing anything. I managed about an hour. No breeze either, which would make it really lovely.

Your temps would suit me better @burnie.

 

We've now had a solid 2 hours of really heavy rain and it's just starting to brighten again though the clouds are still quite black. I leave a bucket under where my gutter overflows (gutters just need cleaning but there's too much gardening clutter all around my house to get anyone in to do it ...); it was empty at midday and it's now full to the brim.
I'm really glad I got up early this morning and got a lot done outside!

 

Rain and more rain, thunder earlier and more expected. Outside temp 16C. Raised beds finished, but can’t plant up til rain passes over. Need to get bean poles up and enviromesh carrot cage finished. At least i can do that bit in the garage…
