Whats your weather like May 2024

19c /sunny and for the rest of the day. Had early drive up too the Forest of Dean over the border and hey same over there . Might put the new Parasol up , umh or is that chancing it .

Very noisy!

Started off lovely and 19C at 11am as I drove to La Roche-s-Yon for a fabric fair. Got some bits and bobs and came home for a spot of lunch and a bit of admin. Then went to see the chooks and check the "nursery" and collect the daily eggs.

Just thinking of going out to play again when the lightning started, followed by huge, long claps and rumbles. Now it is persisting down and has gone very dark.

Not suppose dto happen tillter 2am but it is a long weekend here so no surprise the weather is off.

 

It has been an overcast day mostly but the sky is clearing to blue with puffy white clouds, a chilly breeze and 22c.

 

Sunny and warm again today but it doesn't feel as sticky as yesterday. Mind you my gardening activity yesterday was in the garage shredding a big pile of prunings (mostly Fatsia which the shredder isn't overly keen on) and it was late afternoon/early evening and the sun was shining straight in the open doors, so dusty sticky work.
It's forecast cooler and cloudier tomorrow which should be more pleasant for gardening, then possibly some rain midweek (fingers crossed ).

Its been around 24c and barely a cloud in the sky, pity it cant last.

 

The sunny weather continues here with a light breeze. Cooler than the temperatures of the last week at 16C/61F.

 

We never lost the sharp breeze and the house is East facing, but it was nice in The Jungle Room with the West sun on it.

Sunny 10c, not expected to be as warm as yesterday.

 

Cloudy and dry here with an o'night low of 11 degrees. It's still 11 just now [at approx. 7.25 am]
The expected high is around 17, but it isn't too be as hot and sunny as yesterday, thankfully!

Yesterday got to 22, but it was cloudy all morning, so nice and cool for a walk, and doing some outdoor jobs later without having to keep coming inside to cool down.

 

Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the north east temp 10c feels like 11c. most of the same all day.
