Whats your weather like May 2024

@pete we used to get Concorde landing and taking off here occasionally, but it was very very noisy. We would run outside to see it. I thought it was always taking posh people to New York. And when I lived in South Wales we would hear its sonic boom - a double one. Oh those were the days.....

 

All day it's been light cloud and a gentle breeze from the west temp 13c
It's still cloudy with a gentle breeze from the west temp 11c feels like 11c.

 

At home rain has been light for most of the day and stopped early evening. Driving into Inverness midday it was pouring with lots of road surface water on the way. 10C/50F

Good morning everyone.
A mix of clear sky and clouds this morning with 9c and no wind. temperatures to expect a bit higher than yesterday with around 16/17c.
It will stay dry and even sunshine tomorrow, when we are heading to Chelsea.
From Sunday on, weather will be a bit rainy eventually with temperatures just below 20c.
I'm afraid, my 5 years period of having warm and sunny summer weather in the first 2 weeks of June has ended. The weather we had for many months now will continue and reflect the average figures. That means I need a rain jacket for our Cornwall visit, and leave the shorts at home.

Good morning all ,cloudy with a high of 16c more rain afternoon.

 

Damp here, but the rain's to go off at some point. O'night low of 10 degrees. 11 just now [approx. 7.50am] and a predicted high of around 14 or 15 degrees.

Yesterday was wet and breezy all day, but lighter rain than the previous day. The high was 11 degrees. There was a slightly less wet, short spell in the morning which allowed me to get some chopping of branches for the bin collection today.

Today’s weather is grey, very grey with a little bit more grey. A lot like yesterday

 

There was just a tiny drizzle of rain when I stuck my head out of the door an hour or so ago, but OH says it's stopped now and the forecast says none today, so I'm off out to put the washing on the line. Yesterday's dried quickly in the breeze even though it was cool-ish and no sun.

 

Sunny, breezy, 24c and the planes are coming in fast and furious, about five an hour (that's all Faro can handle).
