Whats your weather like May 2024

Another miserable day weather wise is forecast.
It's overcast with a wind blowing making it feel cold.
Rain on the way apparently.

A beautiful morning of mostly blue sky. Forecast is fine and dry all weekend.

U.V. Medium, Pollen High, predicted a “feels like 18” at midday.

 

The sun has been awake for hours, it is 22c with a light breeze. High temp warning still on till 7pm. Could get to 38c.

 

Crumbs @Victoria - are high temps like that usual for late May? I would wilt!

 

No, thankfully ... this is more like July! I become a hermit n July/August/September, but it has come early this year. We should go back to normal next week. We are desperate for rain, but none is in sight.

Here in LL22 it looks like a lovely day ahead. Forecast only 15C but sunny, dry and good gardening weather! Additional water butt to be connected, plants to be planted, beds to be weeded!

 

Good morning all ,another bleak day cloudy cold wind feels like 9c at the moment ,a high of 14c,in a word glum.

 

It is sunny and calm. 42f 5c.

The guessers are saying we'll be going into the low 70'sF or high teens C. Maybe all the way up to 20c.

 

It's coming up to midday, 11c in the Summer house, high wind & rain, welcome to November.

 

That wouldn't be unusual here in most years @pete, but we're having summer conditions this year.
Dry so far today, with an o'night low of 7 degrees. It was about 13 at 8am, and sunny, so I did 2 loads of washing and put them out, and did some potting on etc, before getting a walk, and it was more pleasant at that time as it was cloudy and cooler. Predicted high today is about 16, with a mix of sun and cloud.

Yesterday was humid with a mix of sun and cloud and a few spits of rain. Briefly reached 17. I was too busy with other jobs though, so didn't do much outside here. This afternoon might be the same....

 

I went out about an hour ago, having been recommended to take something with a hood, as it might rain a little. Took 45 minutes walk, and returned like a drowned rat!!

Clothes now hanging, dripping.

Oh yes, it's raining hard, and windy.
