Whats your weather like May 2024

We seem to have a very slow brightening process going on,but the wind is still nagging.
Forecast a fairly decent day tomorrow before it all goes down hill again on Monday.
The mythical high pressure that they have been banging on about, for over a week now, is again not really coming to much.

 

So much for the high 20s as we are at 30c now and very breezy.

 

All day sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the north north west temp 17c feels like 17c

 

Its doing its impression of a sunny day here now, we had bright, and some sunny spells, but mostly cloudy with a stiff northerly wind blowing.
18c was the max.

 

We stayed at 30c, now 29,5c with a nice breeze, and the planes are coming in one after another. Our Flumpy is on her way to Lanzarote but think she will skirt us going by Lisbon.

 

It was a day of sunny spells in the end, but mostly very pleasant. Importantly, it stayed dry for @Valleysgirl ’s event. I actually went to the event and we met for a chat! I really enjoyed meeting, and the garden was looking fabulous - so well done to all the volunteers there.

 

Been a glorious day, just back from a two mile walk now it's cooled down a bit, farmers are only just planting the last of the tatties, things are late this year, hope we get a summer to catch up.
Now 13 degrees, calm and quiet except for the Song Thrush singing.

 

Hello again Aunty Rach, weather kind to us , had good crowds all day, it has a Lovely serenity about all the different rooms in ' The Grange Victorian Garden" coming glorious after 4 years of neglect guided by a group of dedicated ex-doctors, ex-Nurses and Local gardeners , Just one passion Gardening ! Children had fun , copious amount of Tea and Homemade cakes . So nice to chat Rachel we'll meet again I'm sure .

Good morning everyone,

Clear skies and sunshine but chilly. 8 degrees and dew on the grass.
At least the wind has finally dropped.

 

Forgot to do this yesterday, but it turned out to be much hotter than predicted [21 degrees] but there was a nice cool breeze for a lot of the time, so it wasn't too hideous.

Today is bright and dry, and is to be a mix of sun and cloud - mostly cloudy from early to mid morning, with a good breeze, and stronger gusts at times. O'night low was 8 degrees [11 just now at approx. half 7] and the predicted high is around 15.
