Currently -1 here too, happily I have done nothing in the garden yet that would have been harmed by frost...

Just checked the forecast for the week though and we're forecast 17 and 18 degrees for the end of the week, going in to the weekend....fingers crossed..

      Hi all,
Well it's one of those dull days, the sort that when i did have to go to work i'd think come on 5 pm, lets get home have me dinner and relax,

Now ive retired i can just look back at those days that have now gone,

The wood burners doing what it's best at "burning wood" and the dogs are all laying about and the "Boss" is making biscuits,

So to hell with this cold outside day, im getting the lime wash sorted for the fruit trees tobe painted later this week,
So look out all you crawling bugs ive a nice lime path for you to crawl over:snork:.

      Have a nice day folks.

It is raining here at the moment, such a difference campared to the lovely sunny day we had yesterday, but we can't complain as our drought region does need it or else we are going to get a hose pipe ban this summer:snork:

A horrible day today; rain for most of it, cold and windy, even when it brightened up this afternoon the wind increased and it felt 'uncomforatble' being out in it.......still supposed to be a better day tomorrow, dry and light winds..

      Evening all,
Weather first, cold today it did look like it may rain but im pleased to say it didnt,
We've been cutting trees down and sorting the logs into piles for a sat/sunday collection and removal and to be honest ive really enjoyed today,
Nice and quiet and the views for miles around are just peace perfect peace,
Not everyones cup of tea but if you enjoy the country style of life "well" this is the place to be.

      Evening all,
Weather here today is cold and dull, but dry and thats better than rain or snow.
Been doing more logging again today and as i drove the tractor back home i couldnt help but think the tractor and its engine sound is very much like the farmers answer to the canal boat "that thud thud as you creep along the country tracks" the views are much the same as if you were in a boat, fields, rivers but your going over the rivers via the bridges and not under them,
But every bit as nice and to share such a trip with nature is a bonus to me.

It's been a fairly warm day today [around 56f] with a soft, cool breeze with a fair amount of sun that got our local Buzzard circling in the sky!! Later in the day it started to go grey and give a very light drizzle....still managed to do some planting and gardeniong though:heehee:
