What a difference 24 hours makes; a lovely day here today, dry and warm this afternoon in the sun, the light breeze was a little chilly but all in all a very pleasant afternoon

:) Last week we started getting some of our long-overdue rain, sometimes steady, sometimes drizzly ... but here, some is better than none. Today it has drizzled enough to 'join the dots' as we say but the sun is out now. However, our temps dropped from a high of 27c to a high of 14c but still stays in two figures at night, which is chilly for us so we still light a log fire.

Weekend weather is forecast for sunshine and showers.

We are not complaining but are still praying for more ... :love30:

We didn't get the promised gales last night. In fact it was windless. A bright and sunny but chilly day today. 6C at present. Tomorrow we're promised rain and a high of 11C.

Yesterday was high winds and temperatures around 39f, although it felt colder, and grey clouds. Today was warm and sunny until the late afternoon when cloud appeared then disappeared around 5pm and the Sun came out again. That gave me time and encouragement to tie the Clematis back onto the Trellis of the Archway and plan a few moves of some plants tomorrow.:snork:

Also frosty here. Still no rain! No worries about fleece - never bother with it as everything here has to fend for itself.

A thin layer of ice on the top of the mini greenhouse: the pale lilac violas in the hanging basket have deepened in colour and have a "translucent" look about them.No doubt they will revert as they warm up. Wall to wall blue sky at present.

No frost up here. It's overcast at the moment, but about 6C.
Hopefully it will warm up like yesterday, which was very pleasant.
I'm hoping to get my Toms. into the greenhouse this weekend. Weather forecast suggests no frost for the next week+, so fingers crossed.

Yesterday wasn't too bad but it did kind of go downhill as it went on; clear skies and sunny until mid-morning and then by early afternoon it had clouded over and then we had light rain from mid-afternoon onwards and through the night. No wind to speak of though..

Temperature wise it topped 12 degrees here yesterday and didn't drop below 8 degrees all night; currently 8.9..:blue thumb:
