And now the rains gone and we have Blue Skies with broken cloud.
Wonder what it'll be like come teatime?

    Yippee!! :dancy:

We finally got rain at 1.20 p.m. There was a very big clap of thunder (or it was gcc taking the deflector shields) then very heavy rain for 20 minutes. It then continued to give us light rain on and off for 3 hours.

At dawn today there was a thick mist that is gradually clearing. It'sexactly 40F at the moment and the forecasters are saying we should have some rain this afternoon :)

So it must have been the deflector shields afterall then Shiney. We certainly got our fair share of it along with the hailstones yesterday. I am so glad I bought those cloches to protect the seedlings little did I think I would need to protect them from rain. I am sure those hailstones would have done some damage too had I not covered them over. This morning is rather grey and I am not sure what the forecast is for today, not very bright by all accounts.

Well have a good day all might pop back later. :)

It's bloomin luvvly here in Battle this morning. Winds in the NE but not strong and all the flowering trees in our communal garden are looking handsome in their bright flowery Spring clothes. It'll probably all end in tears a bit later !! 9c in the shade.:wub2:Jenny namaste

Brilliant sunshine at the moment. I'm getting on quite well in the garden and will get more done this morning.

Yes, it's a beautiful morning this morning but we are going to pay for it tonight with a hard frost. I think I shall bring the tobacco plants indoors but my other babies I think I shall have to throw another blanket over their beds.

Yesterday was lovely and warm and I thought today just might go the same way. But after a sunny morning the clouds came in the early afternoon and the temperature dropped quickly. It's tried to rain a couple of times but nothing substantial so far. Even Jenny, the cat, who's normally eager to be out in the garden came in with a disgusted look on her face and has settled down on a chair. The outside Weather Station is reporting a temperature of 46f.......

After a short hail shower this morning it turned into a bright sunny day but chilly. A frost tonight I think.

      Typical April day today.
It's bright sunshine outside, the temperature in the Conservatory is 23C.
AND it's pouring down - with hardly a cloud in the sky!

Dry and sunny here for the most part; very warm in the sun if you could get out of the wind which is northerly and boy is it cold brrrrr....frost tonight too, I've just been out and put plenty of fleece on my spuds which are growing really well despite the cool weather...:blue thumb:
