Cloudy this morning but a beautiful sunny afternoon, it was chilly though.

I've just checked our forecast for the next ten days, rain, rain and more rain. Let's hope the forecasters have got it wrong.

I'll send it your way then Ziggy, we've got more than enough here.

I remember '76 very well, I lived in Essex then and we stifled. I was pregnant with my first daughter all the way through it too, I was so uncomfortable. :phew:

It lashed down persistantly for 6 hours last night, Since then it has been drizzly - and still is.
If I could send some of it South for you lot down there, I would - with pleasure.:eeew:

Another day of heavy, thundery showers here.
About 7-30 this evening a huge dark cloud loomed over the neighbourhood, while the setting sun was still shining low in the west.
The whole effect was quite dramatic, producing one of those armageddon* like scenes where the garden is set against a dark, foreboding background.

Torrential rain during the night. Then intermittent showers between sunshine that had me and the cats seeing who could race from the garden to the house first!!:cat-kittyandsmiley:

Yesterday was a mix of sunshine and showers with a very occasional short downpour. It was quite funny watching the pheasants around the feeder most of the day but running for cover when the downpours came :snork:.

This morning we have some brilliant sunshine, blue skies and a dry patio :dbgrtmb: and a load of people coming for the day.

Heavy rain overnight and first thing this morning. It's clearing up now but the ground is sodden and my lawn is like a bog.

Dry again today but very cloudy. Rain is threatening but I don't think it will happen. 10C at the moment, feels more like 6C. :)

10.15 and it's starting to rain again. Quite a lot warmer and that wind that blew like mad yesterday afternoon hasn't come back. Quite a lot more days like this they say. Still, not so cold overnight so mini greenhouse mob will be more cheerful:imphrt:

A lovely day here today, 14 degrees, plenty of sun and no wind; it is however raining quite heavily now though.........again...:snork:

The warmer temperatures, sun and rain is certainly making things grow well in the garden, the grass will need another cut as soon as its dried out a bit and weeds keep popping up almost daily...
