It drizzled on and off during the night and we now have a strongish breeze that's drying out the patio whilst the sun is shining.

Thanks, everyone, for sending the rain :dbgrtmb:

I only like Summer storms when I can open doors and windows so that I am part of it. I am quite sensitive to thunder and lightning and I don't like it out of context ie. in winter 'cos I won't open doors and windows throwing indoor heat to the elements. Is it me or do you think we don't get so many of them these days? (storms to the £ that is...):dunno:

A mostly DRY :snork: day today, just a few spots of rain earlier this morning, nice and mild too with a light breeze..., there has been some nasty looking thunder clouds drifting by in the distance but so far they have avoided us..

Rain overnight, then several very heavy showers in the morning and early pm.
Tenth consecutive day with rain, all the local rivers and streams are currently at a higher level than at any time during the winter and the ground is quite soggy.
Wasn't all bad though, the shower clouds cleared around mid afternoon and a combination of bright sunshine and a very strong wind meant we actually managed to squeeze in a bit of grass cutting at the end of the day.
