Woken by thunder & lightning (very very frighting) at 2am & its been raining steadily since then. I predict flooding in Oxford before the week is out if this keeps up. Luckily I live on a hill...

What a wonderful day it was yesterday! :) It reached 71F in the more sheltered part of the garden and was sunny all day. I spent most of the day mowing and the lawns look great :dancy:

The plants are burgeoning and some are even flowering early (whilst others seem to be a few weeks late).

It drizzled during the night and, although it isn't precipitating at all now, it looks as though it might start up soon. A slight breeze is is moving the trees and all's right with Shineyland (I even got four hours sleep last night ) .

That was 'old mother Lolimac' giving her prediction of Mays weather.......
      Oh....what a ray of sunshine i am this morning:sad:

In this upsidedown world where we live in, I left the german city of Dresden where it was sunny and with temperature at +28 and I've flown back to the italian location of Milan Malpensa where it is rainy and with temperature at +15.
        INDEED AN UPSIDEDOWN WORLD...

It's been warm and dry with the occasional outbreak of sunshine - until five minutes ago. Now it's raining, but very still.

          If only........
We're getting wet day, wet day, wet day, wet day, wet day, wet and windy day, and so on.....
Raining steadily on the way in to work this morning, it gradually petered out by mid morning and actually brightened up a bit by mid afternoon.
          15 days now.
