Sorry, Jenny :love30:, maybe you'll get some today. It rained quite heavily during the night but stopped around 5 a.m. and, hopefully, will keep off so that I can carry on gardening.

After a lovely warm dry day yesterday, its cold and cloudy today and has been raining steadily for the last couple of hours, nothing heavy, just nuisance value really..

Wow great day here in Fife SUN all day and very warm

Work done today, raised my Fife stone border edging an inch,30' long and got it straight too this time, where before it was level with the grass and the border just bled over the edging into the grass :dbgrtmb:
Finally with the previous days wind and two days of sunshine managed to riddle the last half tone of stone chips,, to reclaim the top soil
Spent three hours arguing on the phone to try and get my occupational pension paid, well overdue and no information of what where wither or when
Ooops sorry this should have been in what did you do today thread :)

It's blithering cold up here today. Just sitting here working on the pc and kept checking the central heating remote - it's on but it's still cold! Had an idea :ideaIPB:and checked the boiler - it's empty! I am now happy and warm again!

Cloudy, but dry today, a bit cool at 10 degrees but managed to get some things done.

Frost forecast for tonight, can't see it at the moment, still 7 degrees and thick cloud cover; however I'm taking no chances and have been out and covered my spuds with 2 layers of fleece..:blue thumb:

Don't know what it's been like here. I've been gallivanting backwards and forwards through five counties and been on a paddle steamer on the broads. It was, variously, bright, sunny, cloudy, dull and always cold. Had a great day :dbgrtmb:

Looking out at a shiny wet patio - yet again. Gentle steady rain no wind. The birds are very grateful that I am still putting out seed for them. 9c at 7.40 am.
