    Aw Jack,
so sorry it's getting you down a bit. But, there is talk of it getting warmer next week so you can crack on then. Hope you've got some treats lined up for the weekend and the chance of a pint that's not at the £4 rip off price.
Whereabouts in Italy are you off to. Happy to read it in the "Holiday" thread.
AH-weather: Milky sky with the odd glimps of sun, 9c and a slight breeze. Tomatoes survived the night outdoors and miniGH is now open at 7.45am,

It's overcoming that sort of adversity which has made we British what we are. Miserable gits. :heehee:

Started raining here at mid day. Quite mild - everything is out and getting a taste of the rain. Most of it hasn't had a whole day of sun yet!! 2pm.

Cool and cloudy 14c but at least it's dry and got some borders edged up and made up a few wall baskets.

The sun disappeared as I got out of bed this morning, perhaps I should have stayed there. Gloomy weather again and it's just started to drizzle. 12C.

Sodding horrible. Temp didn't even reach double figures today and ground frost forecast tonight. In normal years I've got my outdoor toms planted by now but they are still in the GH and about 9 inches tall so really do need planting out. May has been really weird, at the start of the month we were sitting in shorts and tee shirts on a campsite in the highlands for a couple of days then the weather changed and we'd snow on the mountain tops and frost in the glen.
We escape to Greece in three weeks but really have to get the garden sorted before we leave and are running out of time.
            No water shortage though!!!

Perhaps I'm getting lucky??, but the weather is definitely showing signs of slowly improving around here; today has been mild again (15 degrees+ here for the last 3 or 4 days now), we've had little or no wind and today has been dry again for the most part; we just had some light rain just before dark..
