Nothing but drizzle today, why does it make you wetter than ordinary rain? :heehee:

Topped at 10C today and it's now 9C at 7.15pm.

      Friday !

      Evening all,
Well it's the weekend again and the weather picture here is all clear of snow, and very mild,

So ive plans for this weekend, ie to prune a few fruit trees and maybe just maybe tidy one of the smaller borders up,

The bulbs are showing through but ive some chick weeds that need to be removed,

I myself like weeding (I know "get a life") but i get a good feeling when ive finished a section and stand back and see some results for my labour,

And its amazing how quick you can fill a wheel barrow up.

Yes because todays been so mild it gets me in the gardening mood,
I do enjoy the winter rest, but im ready for the the early morning starts and those late evening drinks on the patio.

Topped 13 degrees yesterday as forecast, was still 11 degrees at mid-night last night  It was also a cloudy, mostly dry day..:D

It is already 10 degrees today at 5am...

Still got a light frost forecast for Sunday night, but the possibility of 16 degrees on Wednesday apparently;..!!!!

Started off mild and cloudy, quite a bit of rain until about 2pm, and temperature up to 12 degrees; that's cleared now and the suns out but the temperature has dropped like a stone with it, down to 6 degrees in the space of a few of hours and with an icy breeze..

Started off dry, then drizzled, then sheeting rain while I was up the fields with the dogs. When I came back it brightened up, then we had sunshine, then it got really windy, then we had hailstones, then sunshine again, now it's not raining but is quite windy again.
