Jenny, so are you a weak tomato? :heehee:

Yesterday was quite nippy in the strong wind and the sun didn't make an appearance. This morning it is 50F, overcast and misty but the forecast says it will be sunny by 9 a.m. and the temperature will rise to the mid-70's by this afternoon. It also says that it will reach the upper 70's tomorrow and Thursday.

        Too hot today.
My soil at home is starting to dry out.
        I want the rain back.

Warm sunny and breezy 20c, watered the sandpit (garden) after letting the Sparrows have their daily dust bath.

Topped 27.2 degrees this afternoon, phew...:snork:, currently 22.1 degrees at 9.20pm!!!

A thermometer I have in the garden got caught in a sun trap this afternoon and nearly maxed out and blew its top, it reached 39 degrees..:hate-shocked:, I know this was a false reading being in full sun for an hour or two, but blimey

36 hours hours ago it was only just scraping in to double figures and now this....amazing!! I don't like hot weather, but after the rubbish weather we've had for the last 6-8 weeks I don't mind this for a little while :dancy:

OK - I confess. I wasn't working really this afternoon. Was reading the deJager Autumn 2012 catalogue and my June Gardeners World copy which came today. Got hot and bothered and had to come indoors into the shade. Drank a mug of tea - no hooch Jack. How are you tonight? Packed yet? The difficult bit on the horizon. How will the garden survive without me? Hope you are getting better in your Anti B's. Can you drink whilst you're on them?
