          Torrential rain and gale force winds again. I think summer has been cancelled this year and it's straight to autumn. :frown:

          Aaaaw Sheal. Whats to do? I was so happy to be back on GC but now Iv'e heard folks' tales of their equally dismal weather , I'm starting to revert back to grumpy mode

            Well, I'm not feeling grumpy.....yet, although we had a good warmish day here in West Cheshire, the rain has arrived and the wind is strengthening.:sad: The outside temperature is reading 53f on the outside Weather Station:dunno:

              Considering the weather some parts of the Country have been unfortunate to experience this last week we've had good weather here since last Sunday; the Sunday was the best day, reaching 25 degrees and was sunny all day, the following days were for the most part dry with sunny spells and with temperatures ranging from 14 to 20 degrees.

              Then yesterday afternoon the winds that had been non-existant all week returned, it got really quite windy to the point where a few pots were getting blown over. That blew in some heavy clouds and through the night we had some torrential rain; which filled up my rain butts again (one was nearly empty) :biggrin:

              This morning the rain and wind have gone and its blue skies again...:SUNsmile:

              Its grey,mild and no wind so far. We haven't had a stormy night so fingers crossed. Cloud looks a bit stubborn though....

                It's cool,dull and very wet here..:frown:It blew a gale and 'precipitated' all night but now thankfully the wind has stopped:phew:
