First ground frost this morning and chilly all day, about 5 deg with a very cold wind, sunny though. According to MetOff it is supposed to warm up to 12 deg overnight.

This morning was frost clear and while not warm wasn't too cold. Then the temperature dropped to 45f at around mid day and it's been like that ever since. Lots of cloud with a hint of blue here and there and a wind that has a sharp edge to it.

Dull and overcast all day. Pouring with rain again now and gales later. Is it ever going to change! :(

Out tidying and mowing this afternoon in my shirtsleeves. 55 deg and windy but nice. Wind getting worse and expecting it to chuck down this evening.

Wet, windy and generally grim. On a plus point though my new nutty next door neighbour cut a 30 foot tree down that is blocking loads of light into my garden. Very brave in the windy conditions.

It's a close call at the moment Shiney, but living on the island still has the edge, weather or not. The thought of moving back to the M25 and the area that surrounds it would be my worst nightmare, sorry! There's no dual carriageway here, let alone a motorway and I can drive for miles at night without passing another vehicle. :)

Thanks for the offer though. :)
