We had heavy rain last night for about 30 minutes. There is now a slight touch of frost on the ground and the sun has come out to play :sunny:

Boghopper, go and plant it all as the day will be lovely. :dbgrtmb:

I've just checked the forecast for Shineyland and it also says tomorrow won't be like dim's forecast - and we're in the SE. Tommorow will have heavy rain in the morning and light rain in the afternoon with wind speed around 20mph

I don't bother to check for Friday's weather as it's too soon to do so.

We are in the Midlands and since about sixish the wind has suddenly got up and rain is lashing against the windows so it looks like this next storm that is forecast has hit us and doesn't look like it is going to abate any time soon.:thud::runhills:

The storm could be seen coming from the West at 3.00pm but took until gone 5.00pm for the wind to pick up. Now the rain is here and the wind doth blow exceedingly hard.:what: One of my cats, Jenny, is sitting at the open Kitchen door looking out into the garden watching it all go on. The outside temperature is 43f. Looks like being a "noisy" night:rolleyespink::WINK1::D

A dull cloudy day today. Heavy rain and high winds for a couple of hours, it's quieter now, but still raining.

Well, the storm has not been any where near as bad as forecast, well at least for Cheshire!:D
The wind has dropped to a breeze and while there's rain here and there we've had a lot, lot worse:rolleyespink::what:

Same here Armandii - touch wood, the wind was getting up last night around 9pm but dropped off to a gentle breeze, with the occasional stronger gust. We have though had a lot of heavy rain, it's raining heavily now as I type....

The strongs winds are supposed to be more widespread by the end of the week though....!!

After a very sunny day and a calm evening the wind picked up about 10 p.m. and carried driving rain with it. This lasted about an hour when it all started to subside. Light wind and no rain at the moment but it forecasts showers until 9 a.m. followed by sunshine all day with enough wind to give a chill factor of 2. 7C at the moment.

2.5 degrees C and heavy sleet shower at the moment.

EDIT: It's now snowing, but not settling, some of the flakes are enormous.
