Weather in North-East mild, overcast, with some cloud breaks - promise of a Indian Summer, so here's hoping for October.:love30::love30:

Another warm, sunny, quite balmy day here. Been like this for the last couple of weeks now.
People are outside in their gardens pottering about, chatting to neighbours, having barbecues and generally making the most of it.
It is now seriously dry here. Established plants are wilting, some lawns and playing fields are beginning to take on a brown tinge, I'm watering container plants and vegetables on a daily basis again.
Having said all that, I do enjoy these little 'Indian summer' spells in late September and October. The sunshine has a mellow warmth, better than the strong heat of a mid-summer sun, the nights are comfortably cool and then there are those beautiful misty mornings....

Lovely overcast and fresh start to the day with a bit of mist around but then it became very warm and sunny from mid-morning, with the temperature topping out at 25 degrees....

Forecast is of more of the same up to the weekend but getting even warmer (27 degrees!!) :phew:

Nearly October and its too warm for me......ridiculous :D

Clouds in the sky, but plenty of sunshine although not excessively hot. Still getting my deckchair out, with a bag of sand, shades and lots of ice cream for the coming week.:heehee::D:hapfeet:

Sunny all day, a complete change after yesterdays fog, high of 20c, not exactly tropical but warm for the end of Sept.

Absolutely beautiful:hapfeet: Not a cloud in the sky all day, temperature really tropical, with the cats basking in the sun and then slipping into the shade to cool down.

I sat out in the garden this evening and all the scents and smells of the flowers, shrubs and trees were really heavy in the warm air...........paradise.:D:hapfeet:

You probably didn't see them because they were too small.

Bloke doing the weather forecast on the radio yesterday said there was a good chance it would be a little 'otter today. :D

With the temperature around 27° at lunchtime, the day began to take on a slightly unreal note at work today.
We'd had to get the bowser out to water some young trees, planted last winter, which are struggling through lack of moisture.
These young trees are in an open woodland type area. As I stood there in my shorts and sun-hat, feeling uncomfortably hot, hosepipe in hand, I looked about.
Leaves were falling all around me, the ground in places was carpeted in brown and yellow foliage which had already fallen. It had all the appearance of an late autumn scene, yet it felt like a July heat wave!
          Most peculiar. :rolleyespink:
