Heavy rain until lunchtime today, followed by grey skies until dark. It's dry now but the wind is picking up again.

Yesterday brought a little drizzle and slightly milder temperatures and by midnight it was 5C.

This morning the patio is dry, the sun is up :sunny:, there's a bit of a breeze and the temperature is 6C

According to my Weather Station it has stayed at 42f throughout the night and the temperature wa still 42f at 8.23am. I'm in Manchester at the moment and the grey skies are making the city look even greyer and drab.:what::mute::heehee:

It's rained all day today, with grey clouds and very little wind. Not a nice day, not a gardening day..........outside temperature of 43f.:rolleyespink::mad:

We got some more tidying up done in the garden yesterday morning as the rain didn't arrive until evening. Today we have brilliant sunshine :sunny: so back into the garden.

started off very nicely blue skies but chill. Then towards noon it warmed up but the clouds advanced and there were attempts to rain. It's now wall to wall cloud with an outside temperature of 45f.

I spent an hour or so this afternoon, in the sunshine, giving the end of our garden it's last mowing of the year and we had a lovely sunset. :dbgrtmb:

I'm going to have to think about increasing the height of the fence at the end of the garden. It's a 3' high rabbit fence that has been doing a good job for the last 30 years. Unfortunately, we're now getting deer coming in and they have just removed a load of the lower branches of an apple tree, chewed down and broken off at the roots some of our blackberry plants and had a go at a large euonymous. There's no Christmas spirit in the way I am feeling about them

very windy recently but pleasantly mild until today. On Boxing day I recorded 15C, but today it was just 8C in daytime hours. Luckily there is no cold frosty weather for the forseeable future.

Mild, sunny day and we're still in a drought situation. Ditches are bone dry.
