Hi new members, can I make a request please? It would help particularly on this weather thread if we new which county or country you are in, just to give us a guide what's happening up and down the country and abroad of course. It's not compulsory to do so, but I and others would appreciate it. Thanks. :)

Still very cold and overcast here today. The ice I took off the bird bath hasn't thawed. :)

Sorry for being away from the forum for a long time.
Due to the winter time, at present I am in Hibernation :).
By the way, right now (21:40 in Italy), in my home (near Malpensa Airport) the temperature is at minus 10.
I've just ask my wife: "what about going swimming in the nearby iced "Ticino river" ?"
      My wife is ucranian.
Probably, after drinking a whole bottle of Vodka, that would be a good idea...:)

I used to visit the very same website!
As a query, I tipe the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) code for the various airports all over the world.
        For Example:
        London Heathrow is EGLL
        Gatwick is EGKK
        Machester is EGCC
        Frankfurt is EDDF
        Berlin is EDDB
        Paris is LFPG
        Madrid LEMD
        Barcelona LEBL
        Rome LIRF
Milan Malpensa (MY HOME !!!) LIMC
        Moscow Sheremetyevo UUEE

        I know them by heart...
Just type one of these codes in the searching box and you will get the weather report for that location !

Good night. I go to bed.
My tomorow's shift at Milan Malpensa Airport (I work there. Outdoor in the Apron) start at 6:00 AM !
I expect to experience a temperature at minus 15 !
And I will have to work outdoor in the Apron !
Do you know the paintings "The Scream" by Edward Munch ?
Well, that's what I will be like tomorrow early in the morning when I will have to go out from my warm bed to go to work into the frosted Airport...:)
        Night !

No frost again last night and is bright, with a high cloud base - although we are being "promised" 5cm Snow overnight tonight.
Quite a chilly feel outside but thats OK.
