    Is it winter?

    Evening all,
Well again a little dusting of snow last night, But the flakes are larger ones this afternoon, -8c most of the day.

I remember the first time me and my mrs we're first courting,
she'd phone me (we didnt have a phone in the house and the phone she 'd call me at was on the corner of our street)
After we'd talked for ages and it came to saying goodnight, we'd say goodnight, and wisper "i love you" and then it would be, have you gone ?
    No you hang up first!

    No you,

Well one night some bloke wanted the phone and he opened the kiosk door and as it was snowing like mad he looked like a snowman,

He said, tell her if every snow flake was a kiss! you'd send her a snow shower, "NO hurry up".

That was many many years ago, one of her friends who has been married 3 times ask "whats the secret of a long marrage like yours?????

My wife replied------ Dont get devorced:loll:

    Good night all sleep tight.

We ate lunch outside today in 18c sunshine with our friends who arrived from Bromley, Kent on Monday night ... we enjoyed looking at their photographs of their garden deep in snow ... :heehee:

They are here for six weeks and are not missing the UK at the moment ... :loll:

It's a star filled evening sky, and cold.

          Evening All,
Weather here "now" this minute, cold -9c as i write this & it's getting colder, the night sky is full of stars and i can feel the freezing cold as i do the evening rounds of shutting all the storm shutters.

It really is one of those nights for thinking about the garden and the things to do "when you can do them,
Ahh Yes a good fire, a nice drink & a few ref books to keep the mind tuned in.
Who said gardening was for the fit?:sofa:

Too true simbad, too true ... so here is a picture of sunshine ... here is my garden at the moment with the Almond tree in full bloom (my current avatar) ...

I must say, we are desperate for rain, we have had a total of six days rain since the beginning of May 2011, two in August, two in October with the massive storm that destroyed part of Faro airport and two days two weeks ago ... we ae supposedly in rain season and are having to water two to three times a week.

So, we suffer for our warmth and sunshine ...
