I opened the Kitchen door this morning to let the cats out and having taken a look they stared at me with the expression on their faces of "Are you crazy??!!, it's raining out there!!". It stopped raining later so we all went into the garden for a wander. The sky is very cloudy but it but it feels quite warm [67f].....and I think there's more rain to come.:snork:

Well it came the 'mother of all', 'wrath of god', 'clash of the titans', 'hell has no fury' type thunderstorm :snork: ; it lasted for 45 minutes, during which we some of the heaviest rain I have EVER seen, almost continuous rumbling thunder with loud claps and forked lightening.....LOVE IT

Unfortunatly I had to go out at the same time to pick my son up from playgroup..:help::snork:, but at least I did witness roads turned into rivers and water shooting 2ft up out of grids instead of going down them ~ amazing stuff

It then cleared up for a while, the sun came out and now we've got another storm approaching, very loud thunder this time...!!

I think that we caught the same storm Bilbo. I thought the end of the world was nigh. Then the factory got hit and took all the power out for 4 hrs. Great stuff we just stood and watch the storm roll through.

It's been pretty humid here today but a lovely breeze. Cam e home from work and found the window box tomatoes draped over the sides like old grren sheeps wool. Quick panic, abandon unpacking shopping ( ice cream etc.) and water my boys:wub2:.
They are perking up already:phew: Lookind forward to sniffing flowers this evening - especially the roses. So evocative in this sultry weather......
