Warm cloudy and humid 20c, unlike some places it stayed dry all day.

Still sunny and hot but the wind is picking up. Had to do a lot of watering.

All we've had is some large spots of rain this afternoon after the early morning rain, with a Thunderstorm wandering around in the distance but not coming our way. The outside temperature is reading 66f:snork:

We didn't get the promised rain or storms yesterday and it's a chilly 62F this morning and sunny. So I guess it will warm up quickly.

Wet windy and miserable. Opened the curtains this morning then shut them again straight away.

A bit too windy - blowing everything all over the place. So many stakes, ties and bit of twine everywhere. It looks more like an RTA trauma ward than a pretty garden.

Reached 17c which was only 3c less than yesterday which was the highest temperature we've had here in three weeks! Nice to know the weather is not going to change for the foreseable future either.:frown:

          Yesterday was "interesting".
It went almost pitch black about 3.30 and started to rain. An hour later there was total chaos. Roads blocked, homes flooded. We even made the National news.
Today has been bright and sunny, apart from all the abandoned cars and devastation in peoples homes.
On the bright side, my Sump hole did it's job. My neighbour's (attached semi) lawn was under 6" water. I had no standing water at all.
Unfortunately my daughter's house was under 9" water last night and the car standing in 2' water. On the bright side they flew out on holiday at 6am yesterday and so Muggins has had all the hassle. By the time they get back the insurance issues will be in progress and the debris out of the house.
