Sorry to hear about your daughter's problems

Once again our online weather is telling me it's raining and cool here so I must be imagining that bright shiny thing in the sky and the outside thermometer that is showing 61.2F

I am sorry for you and your daughter too. Hope the insurers are sympathetic and it is good of you to do the clearing up for her. I cannot imgine what it must be like. The weather this year is absolutely horrible.

Thats the main thing. Thanks for all the support.
Chattels are replaceable. As long as the Insurers are happy to throw out the floor coverings to allow the floorboards to be deep cleaned then all will be well. If they won't, then there will be arguments to get involved in. Fingers crossed they are reasonable.

Awoke to brilliant sunshine at 5.15am, went back to sleepuntil 7am. Just had a heavy rain shower and now the sun's reappeared. Think showers are the order of the day. Some warm sun would be preferred....

Just toss a coin to find out what to expect. With luck it will get stuck in a crack and stabilise, or else it will be the same old chaos.

Yesterday was hot sun from sunrise to sunset (although a chilly breeze picked up about 7 p.m.) and it has been the same again today - so far.

They're now forecasting rain from noon and that it will continue all week. The garden needs it so I shan't complain (well, maybe a little moan if it goes on all week :heehee:).
