78f was the highest temperature today at around 2.00pm and it's now, at 11.40pm, 65f. The clouds arrived in the late afternoon but the temperature still stayed high and the Sun kept coming out, so all in all not a bad day.:hapydancsmil:

Peculiar morning! It's extremely still out there. After yesterday's 90+F it has cooled considerably and there was a very thick mist around 4 a.m. which remained until 5.00 before it gradually started to disperse as the sun brought a pink glow through it. Since 5.00 there hasn't been the sight nor sound of a bird . Even the pheasants aren't around!! It was 52F but has now risen to 60F

The only times I have known there to be no sight or sound of birds (apart from when I was at sea) was when I was in the tropics and there was a stillness before an enormous storm suddenly burst.

Woke up to grey sky. Came downstairs and watered a couple of things. Logged on and looked outside(Garden door open) and it is gently raining. Smells lovely - no wind so it will do the plants good and freshen things up a bit.

Okay you lot! :) Enough about good weather I'm still suffering here, a high of 65F today and looks like it's going down hill tomorrow. After a dry day today, it has just rained but I was rewarded with a rainbow.
