Much fresher tonight, the temperature has dropped down to 13.5 degrees currently after topping 26 degrees this afternoon. Quite a brisk westerly wind got up this afternoon which was refreshing, that has now dropped...

The coolest night for quite some time here last night, even during the wet spells the temperature never really dropped below 12-13 degrees at night. Well it is currently 10.2 degrees here and dropped to 9.8 during the night. I must say its most welcome and very refreshing after the stifling heat and humidity during the last 4 or 5 days :)

No sign of any rain that's forecast for today, its clear blue skies at the moment...

It's also nice and cool here with a comfortable early morning temperature of 59F. So I'll get out there and do some of the mowing I should have done but it was too hot for it.

A lovely gentle morning so far. Everything in the garden looks as though it had a good night's sleep and is ready to get on with the growing job this morning,

72F, pretty warm in the sun and nicely cool in the shade. I've just had a lvoely bowl of home-made mushroom soup with home-made bread - and the kettle's on :dancy:

Going off topic :nonofinger: Mr Shiney, your vibes tell me you are a bit of a foodie like me. Do you make your bread by hand or use a bread making machine? I've got a Panasonic SD-254 and haven't bought a shop loaf for about 6 years .
If the Mods. kick off a bit, we can move over to a food thread,
