My brother and wife (in Crete) stay indoors for most of June all July and August, his electric bill for the air con must be astronomical.

Warm and mainly sunny, max 21c, wind picked up this afternoon.

Weekend forecast doesn't look too good, naturally, it's a Bank Holiday!

Dam that sun and heat :heehee:, it won through in the end, this afternoon was sunny and the temperature rose steadily to 25 degrees with a light breeze...

A lovely comfortable day, overcast, no breeze and top temperature of 20 degrees and then!!!!!, crikey :hate-shocked: almost 2 hours of torrential (in every sense of the word :snork:) rain, lots of thunder and occasional lightening. Back garden now flooded, at one point there was an inch of water lying on the veg patch.......the frogs are loving it, just had a look and counted at least 20 of the little guys hopping all over the place

It's more or less stopped now and its quite a nice sunset, yes sunset at just after 8pm!!!, those nights are drawing in again...:rolleyespink:

All of a sudden, it seems as though the downward slippery slope is on the horizon:sad:
