We've had a number of lovely heavy showers with sunshine in between. Mrs Shiney still managed to get a lot of gardening done.

I said in my last post autumn had arrived and now I confirm that. Rain today and a cold north east wind, my feet have been like ice blocks all day.

Warm, humid with some cloud but not enough to make it a dull grey day and it has been warm and sunny enough to keep the Butteflies and other insects flying around:hapydancsmil: . Also it has stayed dry which is a bonus. The outside temperature at 5.07pm is 63f.:snork:

been a grand little " late August" type of day. Lots of clouds scudding along but good spells of sunshine too. Very clear, pencil sharp horizon out to sea.

Dry and sunny today, but short sleeves have gone! I was hoping to go up the mountain to take some pics, but it wasn't quite clear enough. I'll bide my time. :)

Yesterday was in the low 70's but felt a lot warmer in the sun. This morning (7.30 a.m.) it's already 60F and beautifully sunny. The forecast is for sun all day so I had better take my brolly with me when we go to the Chilli Festival. :heehee:

Yesterday, here in Mid Wales, was really nice, shorts on, did a bit of sun bathing and pulled up the odd weed. Took a load of runners for my daughter, 25 miles away, in Llandrindod Wells. She had invited us over for dinner.
Today back to usual heavy cloud, light rain and a poor day for Shrewsbury Steam Rally normally a very good day out. I would have gone to that, everything there is ancient so I would have fitted in quite nicely. One of the biggest shows in the country. Still the weather may get better as the day goes on. Loads of butterflies yesterday.

Grey skies and it had rained during the night. Today has been grey and with intermittent rain all day. Still, it was reasonably warm and I was able to wander around the garden between the rain so things weren't too bad, although there was very few insects flying around. The outside temperature at 20.47pm is 58f.....which 5f less than last night.:coffee:

A dismal day. Heavy rain and gales until about 5pm and cloud cover since.
