Drove to Birmingham this morning in driving rain and came back this afternoon in sunshine. My neighbour said it only rained around here for an hour and then it's been fairly warm and sunny, but the night time temperature is definitely dropping as two nights ago it was in the 60f's but for the last two nights, including tonight, it's dropped down to 55f.:coffee:

Yesterday's rain lasted an hour and then the sun came back out - and so did the slugs. :wallbanging:

Last night when I got home it was 53F but now (7.35 a.m.) its 60F and sunny. Rain forecast for mid-morning.

        No not normally Jenny
We had heavy hail stones for half an hour yesterday a'noon, followed by flooding, flowing down off the hill

I feel it has been such a wet and cold year, there has been no heat build up in the atmosphere

It has been mostly dry today, but still 14c at mid afternoon down to 10c at the moment
So unless there is to be an Indian Summer September, it looks like Green tomato chutney year AGAIN :-(

It is even feeling a bit chilly in the lounge here tonight, down south Jack. Oh dear, hope this isn't the beginning of the end.:cry3:
But I have this feeling things are gonna get a lot worse,
        before they get WORSE!!

A sunny but breezy day again today, there's a definite chill in the wind.

The children are back to school next week, that's usually a good sign for the weather to improve. :)
