    Not too cold last night and 48F now. Dry but overcast and a forecast of rain. We rea;;y need it here so I hope it arrives at lunchtime. That's when it's forecast to get here but I won't hold my breath.

      A very chilly +1.9 deg C on the outskirts of the village around dawn this morning. The Met Office forecast for the nearest town was 7 deg C, but in our village it's always a few degrees less, and a further few degrees less outside the village.

          Winds are mainly light, but expecting it to pick up a bit later.
