    :cry3: After our brief but heavy downpour on Sunday morning, we not only don't have any rain ... but the mains water went off this morning ... :gaah:

    We are obviously angering the Gods that be ... :love30:

            Rain again through the night and its still raining now :frown:, but yet again no wind so I'm happy with that..:)

            Take care any of you unfortunate enough to be affected by the flooding :grphg:

              Sorry to hear about those of you having problems with the rain :sad: and I hope that things ease up for you. :)

              Yesterday remained extremely windy but no rain. Today we have no wind and light rain interspered with sunshine.

              So nice to see that the extra water butts I bought when SEWater imposed their hosepipe ban are now ...... overflowing!

              Sunshine at the moment with a bit of a breeze; ground still water logged though (not that I'm complaining, it desperately needed it).

              Well, some of the roads on the drive back from Birmingham were slightly better but still covered in water. One of the roads was completely flooded which meant a 11 miles detour to get around it. Talking to one of my neighbours, under the shelter of an umbrella, he said that yet again it had been raining all day. The rain has stopped now with the odd shower every now and then. I managed a quick amble around the garden and the lawn was quite "dry" while the paths were okay. The highest temperature recorded on the Weather Station today was 52f while now, at 9.30pm it is 49f. It's my day off tomorrow so if it's dry I'll try and do a few jobs in the garden.:coffee:

                After the deluge here for a day and a half the sun came out to play today and there's a definite chill in the air now. :SUNsmile:
