It's been a mixed day of Sunshine and Clouds with differing temperatures and a shower of two here and there. The temperature now at 4.07pm is 54f.....but it feels less than that!!!:snork:

Been a wonderful day today. Been out nearly all day and listened to all the robins singing as I gardened Great Park farm and Tanyards 29 Sept 2012 016.JPG and the pheasants at our PYO farm early this morning whilst I picked runners, sweet corn and Coxs and Bramley apples . They are now all wrapped individually in newspaper and in the back of the garage in the dark. Picked 16lbs and the trees are still laden with fruits.

Had a gorgeous sun-shiney day here and a repeat is forecast for tomorrow.

Great harvest there, Jenny! I only have one Bramley on my tree; but, I'm very grateful for it because it was one I bought from Aldi back in March and I think I'm lucky to even have one!

I have another apple tree (not-known) which has enormous apples on it (10 in total) but is definately a dessert apple and not bramley. First year I was here, there was 1 apple; last year (2nd season) I had 3, so, for me, to have 10 apples this year = bumper crop :heehee:

Mainly sunny day with a cold wind but good for a 9 mile roundabout walk from Studland to Swanage and back.

With our well-appreciated rain arriving our day temps have dropped to mid 20s and nights to mid teens ... brrrr! Lovely and fresh though and we are thoroughly enjoying it all. :hapydancsmil: Sun and warmer temps are now forecast for the forthcoming weeks.

A sunny but windy day today. Temperature now is 14C which hasn't changed all day.

It was warm and sunny yesterday and, when we were out shopping, some people were in shorts and T shirts. I didn't think it was that warm!

This morning it's sunny again  and 50F

I saw men in shorts today Shiney but it was quite pleasant. The heating is on now and OH is puffing and saying "it's like a greenhouse in here"

We've had some wonderful rain :dbgrtmb:. It has been raining steadily but lightly since 5a.m. We really need it here in Shineyland. The other day I had to put the sprinkler on the veg patch so I could dig the ground for the onions to go in. It was rock hard.

Although the sun has just come out I think we have more rain to come as Sarafi is still sleeping in the greenhouse. He's a very good weather forecaster and goes for a sleep in there when the rain starts and comes out when it has finished.

Been tipping it down here since the middle of the night, and in fact has only stopped in the last three quarters of an hour - really oddly, the rain clouds are moving away and the sky is completely blue behind them - not even a single wispy white cloud.

It started raining again at about 3 p.m. and stopped about 3.30 p.m. Sarafi immediately got up, stretched and walked out of the greenhouse. It has been sunny ever since. :)

Well, it HAS stopped at last and I think my OH may be able to read his book without a light on now!
