After yesterdays deluge you wouldn't think we were living on the same island. Sunny with cloud and a chilling breeze. 12C

There were apparently 60 areas of flooding yesterday and some damage to property. Although I haven't been out today I know that most of it will have cleared. The island being very hilly drains very well apart from the lower lying ground. I'm on that lower ground but only being two hundred yards from the sea the water runs/drains off fairly quickly.

I've noticed the last of the leaves that were on my young trees have been stripped off, they are now naked apart from berries.

I was near Prestbury for a good portion of the day today and the sky was blue with white clouds drifting across. Even though the Sun was out the temperature has only been 51f according to the Garden Weather Station. It's dropped a degree to 50f now.:coffee:

Just watched that footage Jack. Poor people whose house has been wrecked. Please take care tomorrow as there will still be lots of rain water running of the hills. I have just observed the GC widget and seen a nasty wadge of gunk mid channel, travelling east which I think will reach East Sussex within the hour. Too much rain now,
      Jenny

Yesterday was a lovely sunny day. It was warm in the sun but the wind was a bit cold.

Sun is trying to come up over the horizon now and it should be sunny all day . A nippy 41F at the moment.
