The intensity of this storm is actually quite similar to what the northwest UK experiences every year, however it's much much bigger than your average Atlantic system, and many of the lowland areas are also highly populated in Northeastern US coasts.

    Take care...

Down to 2.9 degrees here last night, currently 3.4, no wind and clear skies, looks like a nice day is on the cards :)

It wasn't too bad late last night when I drove home (about midnight) and the car said it was 8C.

I've looked up our local forecast for today and it tells me that, at the moment, it's foggy and only 5C. That's quite interesting because I've been out in the garden (feeding the birds) and the sky is blue and there's this very bright large light bulb hanging in the sky. Thermometer says it's 46.4F (about 8C).

I'm working at home today so I've taken a few breaks to wander into the garden. The morning started grey and damp but the sky now is patchy blue with grey cloud with an outside temperature of 47f.....:wow: We have rain and wind forecast for tonight and persistent rain tomorrow.:coffee:

Today the temp went up to 61.2F at lunchtime. Once the sun went down the temp started dropping quickly and 10 minutes ago my car told me it was 7C

Another drab day and breezy 10C and 9C now, so not much change in temperature.

We went out last night at 8 p.m. and temp had dropped to 41F. Came back at 10.30 and it was 43F

Currently it's 47F, dry, a very light breeze and the sun is coming up.
