    Been a showery day here, not much wind, but since 3pm the temperatures feel like they have dropped significantly. It is now 6.0 degrees, and I believe its still falling

    EDIT - now 5.7 degrees, so yes its still falling

            Weird light this morning - a yellow sky. Gently but steadily raining. Very still.
            Yesterday afternoon we had one flash of lightening and the bang followed immediately. Big hailstones too.

              Temperatures dropped dramatially yesterday evening, down to a low of 3 degrees but then held stable all night, climbing to 4.9 by dawn and its now 11.2 degrees.

              The sun is shining but it doesn't feel too warm in the brisk north to northeastly breeze; its quite chilly out there but dry..:)

              It's not got above 41f today although the Sun has been out and we've had blue skies.
              I phoned my friend at Stockton-on-Tees earlier and he said it's freezing cold, windy and keeps raining.:snork: I was very sympathetic:heehee: The temperature at the moment is 40f......but it feels a lot colder.:coffee:

              Seriously?? I'm not so far away from you and it reached 10.5C (50F) earlier in the day but then it dropped to 8C (46F) by mid afternoon :O
